January - May 2012 Class Schedule
All registrations for classes MUST be paid at the time of registration in order to secure your place in the class. We do accept registrations over the phone with a credit card.
If a class is full when you call in to register, be sure to ask to be put on a waiting list as we sometimes have cancellations or we may plan to set up another class when the waiting list has three people. We are happy to call you when a new class is added to our schedule.
Registration refunds will be given if class is canceled or if the student notifies the shoppe 7 days in advance.

We offer a 15% discount on yarn purchased for class and during class dates only. All yarn for classes must be purchased from our shoppe. (Clinic class exempt.) Materials for classes are not included in class registration unless indicated.
We are also appreciative of any suggestions as to a type of class you would like to see offered. Let us know. We are happy to set it up for you.

Beginning Knitting - Adults

Taking this class will equip you to go on to almost any knitting project. You will learn to read patterns, cast-on, knit and purl as well as other basic skills. We will make a simple, elegant vest. (Pattern includes instruction for sleeves if you prefer it to be a cardigan) Sample in shoppe.

Circumnavigate Sweater

This very favorite cardigan incorporates many interesting techniques: tubular bind off, inset pockets, saddle shoulders, and phoney seams. Make any size and use any weight yarn. Skill level - intermediate.

Crochet Class

Beginning: Learn the basic stitches of crochet and how to successfully follow a pattern. We will make a basic hat and create a hat all on your own.
Advanced: Perfect your crochet skills from a basic level. Pattern reading is vital and we will create a great pair of mittens that are warm and cozy. Samples in shoppe.

Felting - It's so much fun!

Finishing Tips & Techniques
4 hour workshop - $44.00
Saturday, January 21 10:00-2:30 or Saturday, March 24 10:00 - 2:30
Learn to sew seams that disappear, weave ends in correctly, block finished work, pick up stitches for collars and button bands correctly plus many more tips. Give your knitted garments a professional, finished appearance. Please bring: 5=4"x4" swatches knitted in stockinette stitch. Any yarn may be used, however, it will be easiest to see your work on a light to medium colored worsted weight yarn. Please do NOT bind off.
